Cristi Ganyard

Cristi Ganyard serves as Senior Director for University Stewardship Initiatives within Stewardship & Donor Relations. She leads a team that serves as stewardship liaisons and partners to the University’s colleges, centers, institutes, and departments. USI’s partners consult with campus colleagues on the spending and reporting obligations of donor-restricted funds throughout the year. Much of the USI team’s work centers around managing and preparing the University’s annual impact reports for benefactors. In addition to team leadership, Cristi serves as the stewardship partner to the Offices of the Provost and President. In her prior role at Notre Dame, Cristi served as Director of Executive Events, leading a team and planning and executing events for the University’s highest-level benefactors, often on behalf of the President and Executive Officers of Notre Dame. Cristi has been with Notre Dame for 15 years, starting in Regional Development before moving into Special Events and now Stewardship. Cristi has also worked as Executive Director for a public education foundation, as an account manager and sales leader for a third-party insurance administration firm, and in public relations and marketing in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
