Heather Moriconi

Heather is grateful to celebrate her 28-year career in higher education administration with the University of Notre Dame this year. Her first 14 years were spent with the Notre Dame Law School Admissions Office, recruiting students and supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. Since 2010, Heather has served on the Stewardship & Donor Relations team. She is the stewardship partner to the Hesburgh Libraries, College of Science, College of Engineering, University Relations, and the University divisions. She provides stewardship educational and collaborative opportunities for fund administrators, fund communicators, marketing and communications, and finance teams in her partnerships. She is the co-lead on the University Stewardship Initiatives (USI) e-newsletter, The Stewardship Scoop, distributed quarterly to campus partners. Heather manages the College of Science UROP thank-you note initiative and the Endowed Position Stewardship Initiative (EPSI) for her divisions. She assists in the creation of personalized stewardship, including annual endowment and impact reporting, celebrations, dedications, unique student and faculty meetings, as well as public recognition, for the University’s top benefactors. A proud Saint Mary’s College graduate, Heather majored in English Literature and Humanistic Studies and earned a minor in Business. While in college, she spent a full year studying at St. Patrick’s College in Maynooth, Ireland. In addition, Heather earned a Master of Science degree in Education from Indiana University. She and her husband, Michael, live in Granger with their son Wren, who will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology starting this fall. Heather enjoys vegetarian cooking, amateur nature photography, bird watching, spending time with family, and taking long walks with her rescue Maltese, Asta.
