Through Katherine’s longstanding career at Notre Dame, stewardship has become her passion. As the Executive Director of the Stewardship & Donor Relations team, she leads the team charged with stewarding the University's most generous benefactors. Katherine is the liaison to the Executive Officers, coordinator of large-scale dedication events, and assists with donor funerals on campus. Highlights of her career at Notre Dame include successfully leading the Department’s data conversion project from the HP to Advance; taking responsibility for the marketing and communications for the Spirit of Notre Dame Campaign which raised over $2B; assisting with the funeral services of President Emeritus Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C.; and shepherding the Special Events team which then executed almost 400 events annually. She is responsible for stewardship events for the University’s most generous benefactors.

In connection with the University’s 175th anniversary, she led the 325-mile Notre Dame Trail. It was an incredible opportunity to walk in the footsteps of University founder Fr. Sorin's, reminding her of Notre Dame’s sacred mission to be a means for good in this country.

A proud 1992 graduate of Saint Mary’s College, Katherine majored in theatre and mass communications. She also earned a Master of Science in Administration degree from Notre Dame. She is the proud parent of two Notre Dame graduates, Caitlin Rosswurm ’19 and Grace Rosswurm ’22. She and her husband Joe are empty nesters.
