Nadia Casas

Nadia Casas serves as a Program Director for Donor Recognition and is a seasoned higher education administrator with eleven years of experience at the University of Notre Dame. Known for her problem-solving skills and can-do attitude, she brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and design creativity to her work. Nadia has demonstrated a passion for project management while managing Ph.D. programs in chemical and biomedical engineering from recruitment through graduation. She has honed her communication skills to reach a broad audience of students, faculty, alumni, and benefactors from across the globe. She thrives on executing aesthetic design projects and loves jumping to help her colleagues with unanticipated tasks. With an educational background in design and business, including a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture professional degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business Summer Institute of General Management, Nadia combines academic knowledge with practical experience to create beautiful and memorable gifts and experiences for Notre Dame’s highest-level benefactors. She is known for bringing her joyful attitude to the most challenging projects. Outside of work, Nadia enjoys spending time with her family and furry menagerie, traveling, rolling up her sleeves, and digging in the garden. After a lifetime of gardening in San Diego’s zone 10 climate, learning the ins and outs of northern Indiana’s seasons was a significant change. She is a volunteer intern with Purdue Extension’s Master Gardener program. Fluent in German, Nadia loves to visit her relatives in Berlin and Bavaria.
